Appreciating What We've Lost
It's funny how we only know how to appreciate even more, the little blessings we have everyday only after they are taken away from us.
Look at that smile on my baby's face. She was so happy during our recent holiday to Sydney, just before this epidemic blew up in our faces overnight.
She could run outside freely anytime, eat anything that we wanted, touch flowers and trees without worrying too much if the virus might be on them, not worry too much if the stranger standing next to us might be infected with the coronavirus.
Going out is just as stressful as feeling "locked" indoors. Honestly, I don't really know what to make of this whole situation.
Everything feels like in limbo right now and the future seems so uncertain and dark.
There are moments I break down and cry. My way of coping is to say a silent prayer to God and to reflect on my thoughts and emotions.
I don't want to lose faith, hope or be negative, but I am human. I have moments of weakness too.
To anyone that is feeling lost or defeated in this battle to live a life of "normalcy", for your businesses to survive, for your jobs to be sustained, and especially to those that have lost loved ones, my sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I refuse to believe that this is the new way of life for us all now and forever.
Will life change? Yes, it has and probably will even more in the coming months
But no matter what changes come our way, now is the time for us to unite as a community. To stay strong, to be there for each other, to motivate each other to look forward for a better tomorrow.
Stay strong, stay healthy my dears ❤️
Love and light to you & your families
