Forgiveness: The Key To Inner Peace
FEELING angry is part of being human, but STAYING angry is SILLY. Simply because it makes us unhappy, drains us of #energy, DOESN’T right what is wrong, and it doesn’t help guide those who have wronged us on how to do better.
I get it, some people might have hurt you really badly, and you feel that they don’t deserve #forgiveness.
Know this: Forgiveness is NOT a green pass that validates their actions, it is a GIFT you are giving to yourself.
If someone wronged you on purpose, then draw a healthy BOUNDARY with them and let the past be the past. But still, you have the power to #forgive them in your heart, even if you never see them again.
Instead of holding on to pain and anger, #letitgo. Let in #innerpeace and joy into your heart because THIS MOMENT, today - is a day you’ll never get back.
So why let it be wasted with frowns on your head and anger in your heart? 🙏
3 STEPS TO FORGIVE YOURSELF OR OTHERS:
🌻1 Accept that to err is HUMAN (no one is perfect!)
🌻2 Remind yourself that being angry DRAINS you of energy, while inner peace FUELS you ✨ (I choose inner peace, what about you?✌🏼)
🌻3 Focus on how you and/or the other person can DO BETTER in the future.
(Spend more time finding SOLUTIONS, less time finding fault.)
