Why Waiting For The "Perfect Moment" Can Hold You Back From Your Goals

If you take action ONLY when you’re able to see the entire #journey ahead, you might just end up waiting forever.


If only we could tell what tomorrow would bring🔮 It’s a nice dream, but you and I know - that just ain’t happening.


It is totally understandable that we want to have things under our control, to avoid pain, #failure, and disappointment. I definitely get that.


But waiting for this unrealistic “perfect moment” to appear, will only rob you of experiencing #life.


The best thing we can do when pursuing any #goal, is to plan as best as we can, then take baby steps with #confidence.


Have contingency plans and stay agile to possible changes and roadblocks that may pop up along the way.


Anytime you start to doubt yourself or feel your #fear making you freeze in your steps, remember this:
NO ONE IS BORN KNOWING EVERYTHING.

Read This If You Feel Behind In Life

Life is NOT linear. Some people’s lives may take off earlier and some later, but no matter when that point may be, never stop having #faith in yourself.


I’ve lost count how many times I’ve given up on #hope in life. But I’ve come to learn that you and I - if we dig deep enough, we are so much stronger than we know it!💛
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Know this, just because someone’s life took off earlier, don’t mean their lives will ALWAYS be an upward trajectory.

Achieving #goals is one thing, being able to maintain consistent #growth is another thing.


I’ve come to realise that there is actually no real right or wrong way to live this #life.


Think of it this way, you can travel from Germany to the UK using various methods: By flight, train, bus, car, bicycle, boat, or even by foot.


Some methods may be faster and some slower with more stops in between. Either way, you’ll get there.


Whatever method you take, don’t be too focused on the “stops” (aka life #challenges) that you forget to #enjoythejourney! The JOURNEY is where all the #magic really happens.


Not only because it is those #experiences that will teach you the most about life, but also because once you reach your #destination, you’re just gonna set a new destination to head toward.


Life ain’t no competition, it’s a #journey.

How to Handle Intimidating People

Have you ever met someone who intimidates you? Makes you feel small or like you're not #goodenough?

#Intimidation has a way of stunting you, both professionally and in terms of #personalgrowth.
If you feel intimidated by someone — whether it’s a coworker, your #motherinlaw, or a friend-of-a-friend — understand that your #fear gives them #power over you and allows them to dictate your #thoughts, emotions, and actions.


For example, maybe you change your #behavior in subtle ways to please them, such as ordering a meal you wouldn’t normally order at a restaurant or avoiding discussing certain topics. Or it may be more significant, such as letting their #criticism get under your skin and seriously harm your #wellbeing.


The good news is, it's not something you have to suffer by default. You can put an end to it starting today, and you don't need to sacrifice your pride or decorum to do it with the 7 steps that I share in this video.

What To Do When You Feel Like A Failure

Why do we treat ourselves so poorly? How is it that we tend to have “selective” hearing and focus? We can so easily see only other people’s #wins and think what #failures we are, but slow to acknowledge what we’ve achieved in our own lives.

We humans are just odd. Don’t you think?
It’s almost like we love to torture our own minds.

#FACT: It’s okay to face failures. I sure do. WE ALL DO.

No one gets things right the first time. Failures make us #wiser and #stronger (as long as you learn from them and keep doing better with every try).

If ever you catch yourself putting yourself down, STOP ✋
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Change your #stateofmind by changing your physical state. This can help you to shake off the negative chatter in your #mind, boost your #mood, and help you to see things more objectively.

Whether it’s just by standing up, do a few jumping jacks, stretch, clean your house or go for a short walk.

Doesn’t matter. JUST #GETMOVING!

Next, challenge your #thoughts.

Who says you’re a failure? Who says you can’t #achieveyourgoals?
Have you tried?

If no, then how do you know you can’t?
If yes, then have you really tried ALL possible ways to get to your #goals?

Also, think back on your own little wins. Write them down on a piece of paper and place it up.
Look at this every time your negative #selftalk starts to show it’s ugly head.

You ARE capable of doing hard things.

You ARE a #success when you put your mind to it.

Stop tormenting yourself that you aren’t #goodenough, you’re a failure, or you’re not #worthy. Or even worse - start blaming life and how it’s #unfair.

You can’t change the past, neither will you ever be able to live another person’s life, but you CAN make the best of your own life.

Create the life you want starting now, THIS very moment.

Why It Isn't Possible To "Stay Strong" All The Time (and that's ok!)

I CRY. I get SCARED. I DOUBT myself. I get ANGRY. I feel DISAPPOINTED with myself. All these are REAL #feelings I feel sometimes. We all do.

It’s funny how many of my clients or friends have this perception that I’ve got my shit together, my life is fantastic, and I’m very #confident all the time, and so on.

Yes, I may be all that. But, it doesn’t mean I don’t have my dark moments too.

I’ve been physically abused before, nearly losing my life.
Been through depression, #rejection, heartbreak, and even toyed with the thought of ending my life at one point.

So here’s a gentle reminder for you: Don’t ever - NOT EVEN FOR A SECOND, think your life is a #failure or a disappointment compared to others.

Just because you don’t see the pain, suffering, or challenges that goes on behind the scenes of a person’s life, it doesn’t mean their lives are PERFECT and ONLY filled with #happiness.

That is downright NOT TRUE.

If you ever need a friend to talk to or a shoulder to cry on, call a friend. Go out for a nice coffee. Talk it out. Have a good cry!*

Why health is more important than wealth

​Recently my little one was rushed to the emergency ward. Her head was bleeding, clothes soaking in blood… seeing her in such pain really broke my heart to pieces.


What started off as a beautiful Thursday morning, quickly turned into a bloody nightmare when my little one decided to jump on the sofa (despite being told not to do that without any adults around). With one wrong move, she fell at an odd angle, hitting her head very forcefully (just right above her right eye).


She was rushed to the emergency ward immediately, while I was by her side all the way, trying to get a grip on my emotions (trying in vain to make myself stop crying).


I #prayed so many times that day… I am just #sothankful that it wasn’t her eye that was wounded.
I am also thankful she didn’t have any head concussion. I think I would have lost it.


Moments like this reminds me just how pointless everything else is if we don’t have our health.

I understand we all need to hustle to pay the bills and to put food on the table, but don’t ever forget to take time to care for your #mind, #body, and #soul.


What good is #wealth if we are #burntout, lost hope in #life, or critically sick and bed ridden?
What good is #money if our souls are filled with anger and bitterness?


#Bekindtoyourself starting from this moment because you only have this #onelife, so live it well. 💛
