How To Build Deeper Connections With People

12/4/2026

Picture
We don’t need better stories to connect with people. We need better LISTENING skills👂

We’ve all had that conversation where someone is technically listening… but also clearly waiting for their turn to speak (or they interrupt you midway)😅

And we’ve also had the opposite— where someone is fully present, curious, and genuinely interested.

It feels completely different.

Because when someone truly listens,
you don’t feel judged.
You don’t feel rushed.
You feel… understood 🤍

And that’s what builds REAL connection.

Not charisma.

Not saying the perfect thing.

Not trying to impress.

Just caring enough to be PRESENT. (Which, ironically, is rare—and makes you stand out instantly.)

So next time you’re in a conversation, try listening a little longer than usual.

You might be surprised how much more people open up 🧠✨

Question for you: Do you feel people really listen to you—or just wait for their turn to talk?

Truly,
Trish

5 Phrases to Shut Down Manipulators Immediately Without Arguing

9/4/2026

Ever notice how manipulators seem to thrive on one thing: Your CONFUSION? 😅

They push.
You overexplain.
They twist it.
You leave the conversation wondering why you suddenly feel guilty for having basic boundaries.

The truth is, you do not need a 12-slide presentation, a TED Talk, or a spiritual awakening mid-conversation to deal with manipulation. You just need a few clear phrases that stop the game before it starts 🧠✨

In my latest YouTube video, I share 5 simple responses that help you stay calm, firm, and clear when someone tries to guilt-trip, pressure, or confuse you.

No drama.
No yelling.
No essay-length texting.
Just stronger boundaries and a lot less emotional exhaustion 🤍

🎥 Full video is now on YouTube.

💬 What’s harder for you: saying no, not overexplaining, or not feeling guilty after?

— Trish 🤍

How Great Leaders Get People To Listen To Them

5/4/2026

Picture
A lot of people think influence means being the LOUDEST voice in the room 🗣️ More control.
More authority.
More “this is how it should be done.”

But let’s be honest… that usually just makes people nod on the outside and disagree on the inside. 😅

Real influence works differently.

People don’t follow you because you push harder.
They follow you because they trust you.

And TRUST is built in small moments:
when you actually listen,
when you make people feel understood,
when you communicate clearly without needing to dominate the conversation. 🧠✨

Influence isn’t about forcing agreement.
It’s about creating enough clarity and connection that people want to follow your lead.
(And yes, this works a lot better than repeating your point louder the second time. 😄)

Question for you: What makes you trust and listen to someone more—confidence, clarity, or how they treat you?

Truly,
Trish

Overthinking and Stress Come From Unclear Problems—Here’s How to Get Clarity

8/2/2026

Picture
If you can’t explain the problem in one sentence, you don’t understand it YET. That’s not a judgment. It’s a diagnostic 🧠

Most stress doesn’t come from hard problems. It comes from unclear ones.

When your mind is juggling:

• emotions
• assumptions
• “what ifs”
• other people’s expectations

Everything feels heavier than it needs to be.

So try this:
Write the problem in one honest sentence.

Not the story.

Not the panic.

Just the core.

If you can’t do it yet, that’s okay.

It just means the work isn’t to solve —

it’s to clarify. Clarity doesn’t rush you. It steadies you ✨

💬What’s one problem in your life right now that feels hard to put into a single sentence?

Truly,
Trish

Why High Performers Feel Stress — and How Calm Becomes Their Competitive Advantage

25/1/2026

Picture
A lot of people think high performers are calm because life feels EASIER for them. It usually doesn’t😶

They feel the pressure.
They carry responsibility.
They experience stress — just like everyone else.

The difference is what they do next.

They don’t panic their way through decisions.
They don’t ignore the signals until burnout forces a stop.
They create space to slow their thinking, reduce noise, and respond instead of react. 🧠✨

Calm isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s something you practice — especially when things feel heavy.

And learning to handle stress better isn’t a weakness.

It’s a form of self-leadership. 🤍

You don’t need a stress-free life to think clearly.

You need tools, awareness, and permission to pause.

Question for you:
When stress shows up for you, do you tend to push through — or pause and recalibrate?

Truly,
Trish

How to use the Mickinsey Issue Tree to solve any complex problems (with REAL LIFE examples)

22/1/2026

Ever feel mentally exhausted… even when you haven’t done that much? 😮‍💨

Not tired from work — but from carrying too many unfinished thoughts at once.

That kind of heaviness usually isn’t about effort.

It’s about how your mind is holding problems.

In my latest YouTube video, I walk through a surprisingly simple way to untangle complex problems using the McKinsey Issue Tree — a tool often used in high-stakes environments, but almost never explained in a calm, human way.

✨ No jargon
✨ No pressure to “optimize your life”
✨ Just enough structure for your mind to finally breathe

This isn’t about fixing everything at once.

It’s about slowing down, seeing what actually matters, and moving forward without panic.

I also share one subtle mistake most people make when they try structured thinking — and noticing it changes everything.

🎥 Watch the full video on YouTube (link in bio)

💬 Question for you: What’s one problem in your life that feels heavier than it needs to be?

Truly,
Trish

This isn’t about being louder.

It’s about being unmistakable. 🔥

The Time-Limited Conflict Rule: Why Less Arguing Leads to Better Outcomes

21/12/2025

Picture
vvCONFLICT rarely becomes overwhelming because of the issue itself — it becomes overwhelming because we STAY in the conversation long after clarity has faded.

The “Time-Limited Conflict Rule” has helped me multiple times.

It offers a simple structure:

- Set 15 minutes⏱️
- Speak to understand, not to win.
- And if the discussion begins to repeat or intensify, pause.
- Stepping back is not avoidance — it is regulation.

It creates the conditions where meaningful listening can return, and where genuine problem-solving becomes possible again.

Relationships grow not through endless debate, but through intentional communication and emotional steadiness. Calm is not silence; it is access to clarity🌱

✨ What do you think — would a time limit make conflict feel safer and more productive in your relationships?

Truly,
Trish

The Inner Child at Work: Why Self-Compassion Is a Leadership Skill

14/12/2025

Picture

So much of who we are today is shaped by the CHILD we once were — the child who learned to be strong, to stay quiet, to survive, or to adapt in ways that kept us safe.

When you pause and check in with your inner child, you may notice the same unmet needs showing up in your adult life:
- the need to be seen,

- to be held,
- to be encouraged,
- to be spoken to gently.

And when you judge yourself harshly today, you’re often repeating the tone someone once used on you.

But healing begins the moment you choose compassion over criticism.

The moment you pause and ask, “What did I need today that little me never received?”

You’re not failing. You’re growing.

You’re learning to become the safe place you didn’t always have.

And every small act of self-kindness is something your 7-year-old self would be deeply proud of.

💬 Tell me below: What’s one thing little you needed to hear today?💛

Truly,
Trish
