Asking for help can be SO DARN HARD at times. I get it. We fear people might judge us or think poorly of us.
But here are a few things to consider the next time we feel hesitant to ask for help: 🌿 No one can do EVERYTHING on their own (even superheroes need help at times). ⠀ 🌿 Asking for help lets others know we TRUST them, thereby strengthening the bond you share. ⠀ 🌿 We give those who help us a sense of empowerment and joy through providing us with the help and support we need. ⠀ 🌿 They will be more open to ask us for help in return when they need it, rather than let overwhelm and anxiety take over. 🌿 We feel supported and get to resolve issues a little faster, rather than struggling on our own. ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand… For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ — Isaiah 41:10,13 Ask for help and get the support you need. Anyone who says that they are FINE all the time is lying. Some days I do NOT have my shit together. And as frustrating as it is, I DON’T have all the answers.
Anyway, what fun would life be if we DID have all the answers? Fact is, NO ONE knows all the answers to life. No matter how challenging or confusing things may seem, no matter how lost your soul feels, learn to #BEPATIENT with yourself and the journey. I like to think of life like a living thing. It has a mind and soul of its own. It doesn't mean to hurt you or to not listen to your wishes. It is just that it too needs time to work on taking care of mother nature and the gazillion of people around the world! That is why it is important that we play our parts to be empathetic, to put in effort, and practice #PATIENCE. But while waiting with faith, we can take BABY STEPS to help ourselves by: ✔️Taking time to work on ourselves ✔️Practising self-care ✔️LETTING GO of things beyond our control ✔️Setting healthy boundaries with things and people who are toxic ✔️Seeking support from loved ones ✔️Reaching out for professional guidance As you take these actions, you WILL start to regain clarity and joy in your life. Remember, it is okay to cry, because we all need to cry sometimes.
