As much as you wanna give love, you can't pour from an EMPTY cup🥤 But, sometimes this is easier said than done. GUILT kicks in, then the next thing you know you are back to machine mode – giving, doing, and giving some more... until you feel EMPTY and DEAD on the inside.
If you can’t help but feel guilty, remind yourself of these 4 points: 1. Remind yourself that you have the RIGHT to take breaks! (Taking time for yourself helps promote better health) 2. You can do NO GOOD for yourself, your employer, or for those you love if you are exhausted, burnt out, and overwhelmed! 3. By knowing how to take care of yourself, you’re setting a GOOD EXAMPLE for others. 4. Time off helps to boost your level of CREATIVITY ✨ I admit, taking breaks is sometimes a tricky one for me.
