Heart To Heart Talk vs Trying To See Eye To Eye | Communication Tips

In my teenage-STUBBORN-as-a-goat days 🐏 I couldn't understand why some people couldn't see the world as how I saw it.

As I grew older, I asked myself this question:" Was it that I COULDN'T or WOULDN'T understand?"

Point is, trying to MAKE some one see things your way will get you no where. It only will give you a ton of unwanted frustration.

No one is ALWAYS right. But what if being “wrong” is just a matter of #perspective?

Rather than trying to decide who is right or wrong, let’s try to practice AGREEING to DISAGREE.

If you do wish to try and talk to the other person to help them see things in a different light, one of the best ways to relay a message on a deep human connection level, is by having HEART TO HEART talks.

It's not about trying to WIN a conversation and no one's opinions are being forced.

Rather, it is two people humbling themselves down,
speaking from the heart,
putting aside shame,
or the fear of being rejected,
and just expressing thoughts from the heart ❤

It can be a very liberating and #lifechanging experience for both parties.

Not only can it help get messages and #feelings through to someone more effectively, it can also spark a space in their heart to actually LISTEN with the want to UNDERSTAND, and potentially RESPOND in kind by committing to making a CHANGE from within.
