Great #leaders understand the value of delegation. When a team leader delegates responsibilities to individual contributors, it illustrates the leader’s belief in their potential— which research has shown, can help to minimise an employee’s tendency from QUITTING.
This also frees up time for leaders to focus on more critical and important areas of the #business. But delegation can be challenging at times. #1 Leaders may face tight deadlines and believe doing the work themselves will be faster #2 If a leader is fairly new in their position, they might not understand the unique skill sets team members possess, which can hinder their ability to #delegate the right tasks to the best-suited individuals. #3 When leaders don’t know their team members very well, this leads to TRUST issues; a lack of trust can create micromanagers. A #micromanager has a difficult time letting go of responsibilities. When they do, these leaders often take back assigned tasks at the first sign of trouble. As you can see, learning to let go and delegate in the #workplace is easier said than done. However, using a delegation #framework can help you ease into it and feel #confident about your decisions. In this #video, we’re gonna look at a delegation framework that simplifies delegation by guiding you through its #decisionmaking process. We'll look at WHEN and HOW to delegate✔️ Truly, Trish ➳ 📚GET THE SHORTFORM APP | Enjoy a 5-days FREE Trial: https://shortform.com/Trish PS: Subscribe to my channel #thrivewithtrish for new inspiring videos every Thursday: http://bit.ly/thrivewithtrish Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trishrlee Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/trishrlee LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/trish-lee Website: https://www.trishandco.com ___ #trishlee ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #videooftheweek #mindsetvideos #leadershipskills #leadershiptips #micromanage #quityourjob #toxicworkplace #leadershipdevelopment #leadership #leadershipcoach #leadershiptraining #leadershiplessons #leadership101 #leadershipforwomen #effectiveleadership #managementtips
