The URGE to compare ourselves to others in a NEGATIVE way is slightly similar to being HOOKED on mindless eating 👀

We do it because we couldn’t
#RESIST the urge to see, read, or hear about something, and then start HATING ourselves right after.

To be more accurate, the act of comparing oneself to another itself isn’t bad - IF you are comparing in a HEALTHY way to improve yourself☝️

But if you notice yourself comparing to others while constantly putting yourself down, then it is important to learn how to better manage this “addiction” in a healthy way.
