How many times have you thought: 👉 “I will be happy WHEN…. (fill in the blank).”
You THINK that by reaching THAT #goal, you will be happy. Right?
That is absolutely WRONG❌
When we reach a goal, we might be temporarily satisfied or #happy, but it won’t really last.
Because the #truth is:
1 We’re just gonna want ANOTHER, and another, AND another goal.
That’s just how humans are - continuously wanting to #learn, grow, and #achieve.
2 We have this FALSE belief that in order to be happy, we MUST achieve or have a certain something or someone, but the reality is - You ARE capable of feeling TRUE HAPPINESS in THIS moment regardless of your circumstances.
🌻Appreciating the LITTLE things (hugs from your loved ones, enjoying a good meal, good company, a nice weather, feeling safe, or for just simply being alive).
🌻Choosing to focus on the GOOD, regardless of how BAD everything around us may seem.
This isn’t called being naive, being lazy or not ambitious, it is called living MINDFULLY and staying GROUNDED.
Because believe it or not, if we keep trying to feed our inner #EGO in hopes of one day satisfying it enough to feel total euphoria, that day my friend, will NEVER happen.
